Panchayat Review; An Exploration of Rural Area by A Metropolitan Guy, Panchayat web series review, TVF Panchayat Review.
Panchayat Series Created by The Viral Fever. Jithendra Kumar, Ragubhir Yadhav and Neena Gupta acted in lead role.
Abhishek Tripathi (Jithendra Kumar) who lives in a metropolitan city got a Panchayat Secretary job in village of Uttar Pradesh. Abhishek never experienced the life of rural area.
The entire story is about How Abhishek experiences the village life and face the village peoples. How hard it would be for a guy who is going to live his life at one place that he never experienced before.
The creators clearly portrayed the way rural peoples behave like superstition, creating rift or chaos for small things, the way they celebrate a function, at some point the unity between them, not understanding the govt schemes, Patriarchy etc
If you already saw any of the Tvf series you may know that they gave some importance for Humor and emotional moments. Here panchayat most of the scenes made in comedy manner and bit emotional.
Those who already watched previous TVF creations knows how engaging and how good their writing would be. They didn’t give much importance for love in this series if they did it might be too interesting.
Here Panchayat writing is somewhat good and the performance of the cast also good. The engagement of entire series Isn’t as good as I expected.
The Creators clearly told what they tried to do. You don’t become a product of your circumstances. You need to change your circumstances to your product that’s what Protagonist Did in this series.
In Rural areas Patriarchy isn’t a new thing. Husbands let their wives to stand election and make them win but never let them to go out do their job instead husbands took the charge keep their wives at home as usual.
It ensures that they never let womens voice to reach all over the society. They are using them the way they want. Like this bunch of other stuffs also talked in this series.
It would be great entertainment if you give a try.
