She Netflix is written directed by Imtiaz Ali. The director used to direct love films but not this time. He came out of the box & created the story revolves around narcotics gang.
Bhumika Pardesi (Aditi sudhir Phohankar) as protagonist was lady constable who went undercover operation as prostitute to catch narcotics gang head.
Sasya (Vijay Varma) played one of the leading role as antagonist gave pure class acting.
The conversation and intimate scenes from sasya and burmi push further the audience. The director underused the vijay Varma. Imtiaz should have used Vijay more screening time.
We can see the character development in all Imtiaz Ali films. Here the lead role Bhumi Character transformation feels really good and interesting.
Before she went undercover she was less feminine and less physically attractive.
She is girl who used to get curse from his husband for not behaving like women in bed.
she is the one who seems having less interest in physical intimacy. She is halfway through divorce from his husband. she has three important things to care in her life.
One is her ailing mother and the second one is her sister who doesn’t care about what peoples talk care only about herself and third one is her job which feeds them.
Once she started pretending as sex worker her body transition physically and mentally change. She started getting attention from men’s for her physique and attitude.
After this she started seducing mens to understand them. She feels more confident about her body. She made herself physically verbally strong to deal with narcotics boss.
After certain stage she started doing what she feels right never listen what her higher official said. this ensures her dominance over the undercover operation.
Writing could have been more intriguing and dialogues may not impress you the way protagonist Characterisation. We can witness some unnecessary obscenity in this series.
Cinematography is absolutely brilliant the way director wants use the colors at varies scenes seems brilliant. the road she waited as whore, the hotel where sasya and bhumika make out every aspect of colors outstanding.
When it comes to web series, strong language and obscene will take place when there is no need. How Imtiaz ends the season is totally unexpected. If you have time, give it try you will not disappoint I guess.
